A little about me . . 

 

Lauren Grant is a Folk/Indie singer based in Dallas, TX. She was born in Japan and has lived in many countries including Italy and Switzerland, before making her way to America.

 

She learned to play guitar from her father at age of 12 and started writing songs at 15.  Writing and singing has been her passion ever since.  Lauren musical  influences come from a wide variety of artists, such as:  The Cranberries, Lee Ann Womack and No Doubt.

 

Lauren Grant has been performing in public concerts since 2003 and has had a musical guest appearance on Trix In The Hat TV show; was a Jingle Contest Judge on 106.1 KissFM Kidd Kraddick in the Morning; performed at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Fort Worth, TX.  She's had an original song used in Guessâ„¢ ads and performed an original song for a Victor Clarkâ„¢ clothing TV commercial. In addition, she was one of the top ten finalists in the 2013 "Songs That Save" songwriter competition for St. Judes and won the 2014 Dallas Indie Festival "Artist Of The Year" award. 

 

Lauren has performed locally at Ricks Chop House, Club Dada, The Green Room, Spoons Cafe, Iron Cactus, Sambuca and many more.
